Most Meat Collective owners run their Meat Collectives as limited liability companies.  If that's your plan, you'll need a few formal pieces of paper in place. We're happy to share a basic templates for those formal pieces of paper. As always, you'll need to consult lawyers working within your state to ensure you have the right language and all the necessary paperwork per state laws. These are merely meant as examples.

Unit Subscription Agreement: If your Meat Collective is an LLC, depending on what state you're setting your Collective up in, you may need one of these. This legal document effectively describes how many units or shares each member owns of the business.

Operating Agreement: You would use this template to outline your LLCs' rules, regulations, as well as its financial and operating procedures.
